No recent activity observed Things are warming up so with the incoming weather expect snow showers to around the 2000m mark with moderate Westerly winds. Expect similar forecast for Sunday but winds increasing to gale. Exposed slopes to the wind where the old snow surface is present will be very firm, use care.
A shift in temperatures is quickly changing the snowpack back to a more typical springtime structure. Below 2000m, this is causing any new snow from previous storms to become isothermic. Above 2000m, we still see the new snow holding winter temperatures along with exposed old snow surface remaining slick.
