LAST BULLETIN OF THE SEASON: END OF THE SEASON, OFTEN STABLE SNOW COVER Spontaneous releases: Unlikely. Triggered releases: Unlikely, or a rare surface wet slide, starting under skis on a very steep and warmed slope. Last bulletin of the season. The Grenoble snow science team wishes you a great summer! See you next year!

Snow cover qualification: The snow cover is rather deficient for the season. After a rather well-snowed mid-winter, the melting of the snowpack was particularly rapid in spring, with a hot and dry April, and a scorching late May... Snowfall episodes associated with the cool early May period were only a short-lived respite for the snowpack. Some slopes remain skiable at altitude, but require long portages. Skiable limits: 2300/2500 m in North valleys. 2700/2800 m in South. On foot, many névés still present from 2000/2200 m in North. Snow quality Monday: Nighttime refreezing quite good. Rapid humidification Monday during the day.
