Bariloche — Avalanche Forecast

In the alpine zone, avoid slopes with an inclination of 35 degrees or greater, near ridges and large obstacles, that have new accumulations of wind-blown snow, in the orientations indicated in avalanche problems. Seek routes that avoid traveling near cornices. These have reached large to very large sizes. Keep in mind that they can break further back than they appear from above. In all altitude zones, avoid terrain traps.
